Q. How do I find the front page of the New York Times for the day I was born?

You can get the front page of the NYT for your birth date by using the New York Times Historical database from ProQuest.

1. Go to Databases A-Z.
2. Find and click on New York Times Historical.
3. Under "Publication date", choose "On this date".
4. Choose the month, day and year of your birthday from the dropdown boxes.
5. Under "More Search Options", "Document type", choose "Front page article".
6. Click "Search".
7. Open any article that appears in the search results.
8. Click the "Page view - PDF" tab.
9. Download the PDF using "Download Page PDF" link on the right.
