The libraries have KIC scanners that are capable of scanning books. After you scan, you can send the scanned PDF to yourself via email. There is a KIC scanner on the first floor and in the basement in King Library. Additionally, any of the pay-for-print printers are set up to scan.
Scanning is free. Technically there are no scanning limits but it is usually best to break longer chapters up into smaller sections due to e-mail attachment size limits.
Scanning of materials from the Walter Havighurst Special Collections is restricted. See the online policy at https://spec.lib.miamioh.edu/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/camera-use-policy-9-11revweb.pdf for further details.
