Q. Does the library offer any special privileges to Honors Students?

Yes, the Libraries offer these extra privileges to Honors Students:

• Honors/Scholars Study Room: King Library 227 is available exclusively for Honors and Scholars students. Use your ID to enter the room, just as you would your dorm room. If you have trouble entering the room, please see someone at the circulation desk.
• Extended Checkout Time: You can check out books for a semester at a time. Any Miami book that you borrow from the library will be due on January 30. PLEASE NOTE: Any book may be recalled after you have it checked out for 3 weeks. If you receive a recall notice from the library, you must return the book by the date specified, or fines will incur.
