Q. How many times can a library book be renewed?

Miami University items may be renewed up to 999 times, unless another patron has requested the items.

Items obtained through OhioLINK and SearchOhio by be renewed up to 5 times after the initial checkout, unless aother patron has requested the items.

Items obtained through Interlibrary loan may or may not be renewable, at the discretion of the institution that has provided them to Miami. PLEASE NOTE: Institutions will rarely accept a request to renew a book after its due date.
